inSkillShorts ("we", "our", or "us") is a microlearning mobile application designed to help blue-collar and gig workers in India learn practical skills in under 60 seconds.

• Anonymous User ID — a randomly generated identifier to save your preferences. No name, email, or phone number is required.
• Language Preference — the language you choose (English, Hindi, Kannada, Bengali).
• Learning Interests — categories you select (Finance, Work Tips, Health, Rights).
• Bookmarks & Read Progress — cards you save or mark as read.
• Usage Analytics — anonymous data such as cards viewed, categories browsed, and session duration to improve the app.

How We Use It

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Personalise your content feed based on your interests and language.
• Save your bookmarks and reading progress across sessions.
• Understand how users interact with the app to improve content and features.
• Maintain app performance and fix issues.

Where Your Data Lives

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), a cloud database service provided by Google LLC. Firebase stores data on servers that comply with industry-standard security practices.

No Account Required

inSkillShorts uses anonymous authentication. You are never asked to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personally identifiable information.

A random unique ID is generated for your device to save your preferences locally and in the cloud. This ID cannot be used to identify you as an individual.

Age Requirements

inSkillShorts is intended for users aged 15 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
• Update your language and interest preferences within the app settings.
• Opt out of analytics by uninstalling the app.
